Why this site exists
Working out an age sounds simple until you hit a February 29 birthday, a date at the end of the month, or a form that asks for your age on a specific day. Many calculators also make you click, wait for a reload and scroll past ads before you see the answer. Here, your age appears as soon as you finish typing, with the method shown next to it.
How the calculators are built
Every page uses the same calculation engine, and an automated test suite checks it on every change. The rules and test cases are public on the methodology page.

Calculations run in your browser, and nothing you type is sent to us. The privacy page has the details.
